As class sizes expand, student engagement can become a real challenge. Dr. Rania Al-Hammoud, from the University of Waterloo and Dr. Mohammad Zia from the University at Buffalo joined us to share their experiences and best practices are. Together they shared some tips to keeping students engaged with a a large class and how Kritik assisted them with that process.
Dr. Al-Hammoud teaches Engineering courses to class sizes that are larger than 200 students. She will be talking about how she used Kritik to conduct group assignments that gave her students an opportunity to give critical and actionable feedback to their peers that helped fill existing learning gaps.
Dr. Zia teaches data-enables science and engineering topics to his class with 100-200 students. He has been using Kritik for 2 semesters now and is able to turnaround personalized feedback in 3 days!
